Final Push

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense and I knocked on more than 1,000 doors on Sunday before Election Day!

(This post originally appeared as an online edition of our newsletter on November 6th, 2017.)

Thank you for your generous past support. Please dig a little deeper one more time. We need a strong final push for Delegate campaigns struggling to combat the new flood of Republican Caucus money in the last week.

With your help, I can continue to support progressive campaigns and our statewide volunteer GOTV effort.  Campaigns need money for last minute media and volunteers need snacks, water and literature to distribute. Volunteers are showing up all over the state and we don't want to turn any away. You know that the most convincing GOTV contact is face-to-face, and you know that this election is so very close that turn-out is crucial.

Sunday, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense and I knocked on more than 1,000 doors!  We delivered campaign flyers and voting information to every door we knocked on.  We need your help to pay the debts we have incurred for GOTV. If you haven't chipped in yet, please just give whatever you can.

This election will determine if 400,000 Virginians will finally get healthcare, if serious campaign and redistricting reform will finally pass the General Assembly and if our schools will get the funding they need. With more Democratic Delegates we can build a Virginia that works for all Virginians.

For my full thoughts on the election, read my Richmond Report column at the Falls Church News-Press.

Thank you.
